Original tents!

With summer well and truly round the corner – we hope! – it’s time to start thinking about the outdoors, barbecues, festivals and getting some of that white skin on show!  We just love outdoorsy stuff with a difference and we completely fell in love with these amazing tents!  They are not your average woodland green 8-peg tent that’s for sure.  Absolutely perfect for standing out in a campsite or festival, Field Candy tents have a huge range of colours and designs, some really outlandish and others more neutral, but all with a sense of individuality and FUN!  Get the summer on its way and check out their online store – we totally want one!

Our favourite online shop of the moment, with more than a hint of the bloompapers style, has to be Grey Area. They offer a selection of works from brilliant artists and designers who don’t necessarily fit into the ‘traditional gallery experience’ as they call it.  Like us, they cover well known artists as well as up and coming talents and their selection of products can feature anything from restored time pieces to glass chairs, and one off clothing pieces to handmade stationary.  This is a webpage with a difference, it’s cool, sleek and above all – focuses fully on promoting the artist.  Enjoy!

Decorar cualquier rincón con una planta o unas flores, siempre da un toque de color y alegría. Nosotros, además, ¡hemos encontrado una manera muy original de hacerlo! Objetos antiguos como radios, cámaras de fotos o altavoces pueden transformarse en un macetero para nuestras plantas! ¡Parece increíble! Pero eso es lo que hacen en Yukka and Stamp. Echando un ojo por la web, y visitando una de nuestras páginas favoritas Life Style Etc, hemos descubierto esta fantástica tienda en Reino Unido, que sin duda os encantará a todos aquellos adictos a la decoración: The Lollipop Shoppe. Desde diseños de mobiliario o iluminación, a todo tipo de accesorios para el hogar! Aquí os dejamos algunos de ellos, pero no olvidéis entrar en su web para echar un ojo a su amplia gama de productos!

Como siempre, echando un ojo por webs de productos para le hogar, hemos encontrado a Hanne Rysgaard, una diseñadora de productos de cerámica, que nos ha encantado! Desde tazas y teteras, hasta estos cartones de leche hechos de cerámica! Aquí os dejamos algunas fotos de los que más nos han gustado, pero entrad en su web y miradlo vosotros mismos. Sin duda, un regalo muy original para cualquiera si todavía no sabéis que comprar estas Navidades!

The Christmas rush begins

 

So, it’s started.  The mad cap race to find Christmas presents which are original, different from last year’s, and if we could add cheapness to the list, it would be a bonus!  Here at Bloompapers we’ve taken it upon ourselves to help you out with your pressie hunting; every time we spot somewhere new and exciting, we’ll pass it on to you!  We came across this Spanish website, Oitenta, with innovative products to take your home up a level in the style-stakes.  Although the selection is small, we are certain you’ll love their products, which range from interesting looking lamps and wall stickers, to beautiful little flower pot holders and corner tables.  Take advantage of some sofa shopping while there’s still time to ship before Christmas!  Happy Shopping!

 

 

¡Originales calendarios para empezar la cuenta atrás de Navidad!

Sabemos que somos un poco mayores para tener un calendario de Navidad, pero eso de tener chocolate en el desayuno nos hace disfrutar a lo largo de todo el mes de diciembre. Hemos estado buscando alternativas a los típicos calendarios de chocolate, y ¡nos hemos sorprendido muchísimo con esto que hemos encontrado! Estos calendarios, además de significar la cuenta atrás para la Navidad, ¡también nos sirven para decorar nuestros hogares!  Nos encanta sus originalidad, el aspecto artesanal de algunos de ellos, y lo mejor de todo, es que podemos utilizarlos año tras año.¡Empecemos la cuenta atrás para las fiestas navideñas!
